This was the first diabetes book I read that didn't make me feel like the authors thought I was an idiot. It's honest, complicated information broken down into chunks that patients need to know to become a successful pumper. Definitely worth having on the shelf for years to come.
If you pump insulin this is the best book out there!

This is an excellent book for anyone planning to use an insulin pump. It is worth reading BEFORE you get your pump, so you can get used to doing the complicated regimin BEFORE you start and not all at once, once you get the pump. The book is full of information and quite technical, but that is what you need.

Everyone should have this book that has or is THINKING of having an insulin pump. It really will make going on the pump a BIG success. Don't wait to get the pump get the book FIRST and be READY to PUMP.
